DSC_1511很漂亮對吧?

DSC_1443 DSC_1452DSC_1456 人人人人人人。。。。

DSC_1459 烏菜挺好吃的

DSC_1463 我本來很放心的
DSC_1470 看它多開心啊~
DSC_1522走累了

Though I don’t really fancy going to the Expo, never like crowds, noise(No,one year of living in Hong Kong doesn’t change my attitude towards crowds) and gazillion meters long queue, but since we’re in ShangHai might as well check it out. Still, I highly discourage claustrophobics to visit places like this.DSC_1238 Expo opens at 9am but we’re already in queue at 7am.Instead of have proper breakfast,we bought rice balls the night before in 7-11. Luckily Susan’s dad planned out some strategies for us to see as many pavilion as possible, he even kept an Expo map at home and made notes on it.

DSC_1240 This is my rice ball. Taste awesome! I’d be nice to have these selling in campus, filling and convenient for those on the go. Ok,the rice ball is beside the point. We didn’t arrived early enough, see the line under the canopy? We were juuuuuust at the end of it. Yay for the shades cz it was drizzling.

DSC_1242 <3 rice balls!
DSC_1243 Pardon the eye bags
We brought plastic bags to sit on the floorDSC_1246Ticket.
We thought the line ends at where we could see
unfortunately… DSC_1249THIS, is the REAL QUEUE
the weather was already humid and there are water sprinklers on the ceiling to cool us down
When it starts spraying
Susan said :"像不像集中营?”
holy shit, the scene looked like Nazi concentration camp/gas chamberDSC_1252I felt like a horse stuck in the stable =.=

DSC_1255After 3 hours, we’re finally in.
Drizzle is better than the blazing sun

DSC_1303DSC_1299 DSC_1318DSC_1302 Vietnam Pavilion wasn’t as huge as the European pavilions but the architecture felt sincere and special in it’s own way

Korea did a pretty good job for exterior design with their writings
Go in?
6 hours Q-time,HELL NO!

DSC_1324 That definitely wasn’t what I saw

DSC_1326 DSC_1339 How long was the queue in China Pavilion?
DSC_1347 This long.
This is the reflection under the escalator and the snake line goes on and on and on and on….
Queued for 4 hours and then what?
DSC_1365睇电视 (watch tv),pffft
DSC_1380animated清明上河图
a.k.a more TV
DSC_1397 Warung Melayu =.=
sure, those Ah Beng neon lights definitely helped a lot.
DSC_1400DSC_1402Spain Pavilion’s design was confusing
DSC_1422 Italy looked like some kind of office
pretty disappointing
DSC_1424Lastly, Spongebob’s pineapple mansion.
I forgot what pavilion was this
(Poland?)

Gosh, it was such a life draining day. We only carried one stool and 7 of us took turns to sit while queuing. We ended up buying muscle ache pads to ease the cram on our feet. If you’re thinking of bring your kids or elderly parents to Expo thinking like its Disneyland, NO. I urge you to go take a cold shower and scrap that idea,cz the children will hate you for that trip.

Coming up next :

DSC_1097 好多人在這裡遛狗

DSC_1108
